Review of New Albany, Indiana

Small town America
Star Rating - 2/7/2016
I've lived in New Albany Indiana nearly six years. This town is one of the friendliest I have ever lived in. People are almost always helpful and good. Life surrounds church, friends and local events. The downtown is very quaint with little restaurants, eclectic shops and a wonderful farmers market in the spring and summer. Overall the look is a bit industrial. More exciting night-life, museums and stores are just across the river in Louisville, KY. Housing is highly affordable, everywhere in this area. There are parks to walk the dogs and enjoy the scenery. That said, on the negative side, the air quality, and allergens make this area problematic for sensitive individuals. JL

Old city
Many 100+ year old homes, not much to do there, close to to the Ohio River, pretty bad for...
