Washingtonville is a quiet, bedroom town that is beautiful located in Hudson Valley. The Quality of Life in Washingtonville is good however the cost of living is high for those not making the towns median salary. Homes sales for the "average" house sell for anything over $350K but it's the taxes that make the cost of living so out-of-reach for some. All in all, it's a beautiful small town w/some school budget issues and a higher tax rate.
