If you like corrupt crooked cops Belmont Mississippi is for you. They love to nitpick you’re driving in this town for revenue for the city. One case my 17 year old son was pulled over for having purchased a used car only had the car for two days and had a legal Bureau of motor vehicles temporary tag issued and they wrote him a ticket and said that Mississippi does not recognize temporary tags. City court judge ruled that to be inaccurate and the case was dismissed. We sat in the court room 5 1/2 hours and watch the city makes $65,000 or more beware of this place! Know your rights! Golden Mississippi is even worse
