Enola is a lost treasure of a place to live. Originally founded as a residential area for railroad workers the village is part of the East Pennsboro Township. Moderate weather, good schools, reasonable taxes, nice parks, low crime all combine to provide great living. It's a place where one can walk the dog at 11 PM without concern for personal safety. Enola is just across the Susquehanna River from Pennsylvania's capitol, Harrisburg. A 7-minute commute puts you into Harrisburg and many cultural and recreational opportunities. Second Street's "Restaurant Row" is famous for many dining establishments and nightclubs. A 15-minute drive takes one to Hershey the chocolate capitol of the world. A top rated amusement park, a zoo, Hershey's Chocolate World, and a five star hotel are located therein. Stay on the "West Shore" and enjoy many shopping and service features that make life a joy. 12 minutes west puts you into Carlisle, PA and its many "world rated" car shows that draw thousands of visitors. 15 minutes south puts you into Williams Grove and its world-renowned Sprint Car racetrack. Health care is excellent with easy access to the University of Pennsylvania’s Hershey Medical Center and its level #1 trauma care, the pinnacle health system has several hospitals, and the top rated Holy Spirit Medical Center. Great living!
