Review of Highland Park, New Jersey

Transportation around Highland Park
Star Rating - 9/25/2009
It's within easy access of the Jersey shore, Manhattan, Philadelphia, and nearby country. You need a car to live here, but there is public transportation into Manhattan and Philadelphia.

You DON'T need a car to live in Highland Park. Across the river is New Brunswick which affords transportation by train to NY, Trenton, and Philadelphia. Buses run through Highland Park connecting to larger transportation centers. Highland Park has services on Main Street as well as a grocery. The downtown is designed for walking and getting better every year. Building off of the available public transportation you can access most of NJ as well as NY and Philadelphia.
