Review of Clarion, Pennsylvania

Clarion is Hometown America
Star Rating - 12/22/2007
Clarion is a wonderful little town with historic buildings, a real Main Street, Town Square Park and traditions the whole family can be involved in.
ALF is Autumn Leaf Festival, which attracts hundreds of thousands every fall. The locals wish it wasn't so big, but they still show up to celebrate. The Clarion River is popular for canoeing, tubing, swimming, fishing and boating.
Cook Forest is beautiful, and has several things to do during the summer. Verna Leath Theater and Sawmill Center for the Arts is located in Cook Forest. You can see live theater productions or view and purchase handcrafted items and artwork.

Wrestler Kurt Angle attended Clarion University.

Many people who were born in the area, still live there and are raising their families. The people in the Clarion area are friendly and courteous, for the most part.
