Marvelous Place in which to Raise Children

Lawrence Park has been and continues to be a child-oriented community. Most children walk to and from school. There are playgrounds, community sponsored sports and activities, and many school sponsored sports and activities. Parents, teachers, and clergy take an active role in children's lives. The school district is small, and the school board members are elected directly from the town's citizens. There is no county-wide school district in Lawrence Park. Class sizes are small so teachers are able to provide individual attention to students.
