I’ve lived in this area and you want to keep moving. The most rude unfriendly people that You will ever meet. Southern hospitality is a myth. Real gentlemen not in Tennessee. Open doors, manners lmao does not exist in Tennessee. Seen more northern kindness in my travels then in this area!! The travel lies well first is visit they will be kind until you leave. Sayings in the south. Dam yanks are the ones that stay. Refugees are NY-NJ-CA come spend and we can raise taxes ..your condition is no voting communists/democrat no board seats. Just be quiet. That’s Tennessee. Criminals like illegals that break laws and take well that’s a fight they have with general-governor Lee! They disagree moving them in their state. Honestly most legal Americans do!
Nepotism is high in Dayton and many cities/towns/counties. Many should have term limits on all jobs in TN/Dayton. Many areas have been investigated and should be monthly. Property taxes flying up not because it’s worth it but others moving in cause greed! City does what with they money?? You pay for school bus rides for kids that don’t ride it. Why? Some sucker must fund the wish list. Laziness is high most would rather fish then work.
No movie theaters, bowling, community activities, no great fairs, schools below average but that’s all of Tennessee. Kids have nothing to do in this community. No master garden club to decorate the city. City needs to repair all the old buildings. Shops have out dated items. Not a hot place to visit. Restaurants are below average and don’t strive to improve.
People in Tennessee love to blame others for their lack of accountability!! Businesses owners from vets, hvac, local utilities, government, county pass the buck. Listening to them constantly tell people “your yelling or difficult “ if you hold them accountable. It’s a southern thing that has worked in the past. People are demanding more then a lazy rude business attitude! Time for people in Tennessee to wake up to accountability and respect. Southern tones only get y’all so far.
Respect is sooo lacking in the south. Keeping your word is non existent. Call backs what is that?? Many criminals (illegals) due to governor has no backbone like Florida governor. Dirty and just sad how much Tennessean's toss garbage around and destroy the land. Gas/diesel on land and just makes the land garbage. You cannot grow anything in this chert! Tennessee is smoke and mirrors. Stay short and y’all will never see all the dirt and rudeness! Spend and go
