Review of Cartersville, Georgia

Coal mill in town
Star Rating - 12/18/2016
The one important thing i didn't know when moving to Cartersville 11 years ago is the coal plant on the west side of town. The town smells of sulfur and chemicals. Only recently i found this out and probably explains why i have a bronchitis infection a few times a year. If you worry about your health or the health of our children this is not the place for you.

It's a power plant, Plant Bowen. I live on the east side of our beautiful town and have never smelled it, but I do see the trail of smoke in the sky. The people here are super nice, tons of jobs since we are 25 minutes to Marietta and just an hour from the Airport.
