I've lived in Bentonville for 5 1/2 years and think it's a great city for families. There are tons of activities for kids and everything seems to be geared to young families. That being said, there isn't much for senior citizens. There are a lot of people who move here and say the same thing - people here are friendly on the surface, but don't expect them to invite you over for dinner. It's hard to make friends if you are a senior citizen and don't have kids. It's a great place if you already have family here, otherwise not so much.
