only problem is that few can afford to buy in now; also brooklyn heights is an anomaly among the "desirable" NYC neighborhoods in that there are few good restaurants, almost no bars, and not very much in the way of local stores. Open question if it's because much of the area is owned and used by the Jehova's Witnesses
