Ok place to visit but I wouldn't want to live here

Reasonable cost of living and fairly safe. Also close to Chitown so the cultural stuff is there. Shopping is run of the mill brand name franchises, nothing too special. What I don't care for is that there is almost no outdoorsy stuff to do. Either go out to eat or go shopping at the mall. They just didn't preserve much of the natural state of this area. At least it isn't Illinois though with all of its corruption and back handed deal making!
