Review of Litchfield, New Hampshire

A Rural, Family Oriented Community
Star Rating - 12/15/2023
Litchfield is a great place to live and a great place to raise a family. A rural, conservative, tight knit community that celebrates 4th of July parades, Christmas tree lightings and other family oriented holiday traditions.

Many farms here have been passed down through the generations. McQuesten Farm is a 7th generation family farm that was established in 1744. Wilson Farm has been operating here since 1884. Many people in the community grow vegetable gardens and raise chickens. American flags adorn the streets and the community is supportive of military veterans with property tax benefits afforded to those who served.

Litchfield has access to the Merrimack river and has many hiking trails. Litchfield is located an hour from the ocean, an hour from the mountains and an hour from Boston. There's a lot of natural beauty and outdoor activities for all 4 seasons.

Safe, clean, civic minded with people who care deeply about Litchfield's history and agricultural roots. A great place to live.
