If the state could get light-rail between Staples, MN and Fargo, ND, I think people would use it to commute for work and shopping. There are oversized vans that collect people for their various appointments, etc., but there isn't any REAL transportation to go from one town to the next. Therefore, people have to use their vehicle to get where they want to go. We live out with the cows and corn, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
