Review of Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky

Most understated small city in the country
Star Rating - 8/31/2021
15 years+ The most understated city in the country. The Youtube channel "Geography Kings" sums it up best, during his review of "Best small cities under 500,000". For its size, Lexington has an unusually large number of multicultural restaurants, shops and even neighborhoods, especially for a city in the South.

Lexington KY is a very old city, first founded in 1774, and later became home to one of the nation's first colleges, Transylvania University. Lexington is very educated, boasting one of the highest percentages of people with an advanced degree in the country.

The city is overwhelmingly friendly, despite infrequent encounters with rednecks from an outside sleeper town. It's still one of those cities where people will go out of their way to hold the door for you.
