The Cloudland Trail and Rhododendron Garden is Won

We really enjoyed Roan Mountain. The picnic area amongst the rhododendron gardens is a sight to behold in mid June. We also walked the bit of the Cloudland trail around the top of the mountain and it was like something out of a fairytale with all of the wood ferns and moss in the dense cloud cover.
Highly, highly recommend!
