KILL IT WITH FIRE!!
Star Rating - 2/7/2019
This city sucks. I've lived here my whole entire life and can't wait to get out of here. The weather is 50 one day and -10 the next, they have HORRIBLE drivers, There are fat germans with their shirts off, and the kids are all, for one; Ugly and mean. People like to set off fireworks 4 weeks before and after each and every holiday, and it lasts till 4 in the morning, there's always a really annoying dog that barks at the same exact time every night, and that happens to be the time when you go to sleep, the football team sucks, half of the people walking around downtown are criminals with felonies, the other half are skinny trumpie moms with their screaming children. This city is the definition of hell. Kroger's sucks, and the pizza tastes like cardboard with pizza sauce on it. The chili sucks, and skyline is straight up nasty. There's always a fire within one year of staying at an apartment building because someone probably tried to summon the devil, and the homeless people are relentless. It's one thing that our country doesn't take care of it's people; it's another if it's the state. This city sucks, and I'm thirteen years old and saying this; If you're planning on coming here, be prepared. As a kid who sits in the front, I get to see all the dumb@sses driving slow. Don't come here. It's the great void. I hate this city.

Annabelle, I hope you move soon, clearly you’re not happy there. Life is short, of a geographical cure will help you, don’t wait! I lived in Cincy for 18 years and I’d go back (except for the long, gray winters). There is always something to do, a concert, great arts, diversity, sports, whatever you want. I learned to love the people and the area...and I made the best friends of my life there. I hope you find what you’re looking for...I think you might be surprised when you move elsewhere and, well....”wherever you go, there YOU are.” Happiness starts on the inside, that’s when you start to see good. I wish you the best.

Hello Annabelle, I don't know if you have a different opinion about your city now, hopefully. When I first read your thoughts of Cincinnati, I thought it was just someone trying to persuade someone not to move to Ohio. That happens a lot, I do not know your real intentions, but it sounds like you live in a rough side of town. It does not matter if you are black or white, because kids can not choose their parents or where they live. Good news is your not far away from being an adult, so I would focus on my future, so you can better yourself so that you do not have to raise your family up in such conditions. I have lived in KS, FL, GA, TN, AL, SC, NC and now I currently live in Texas. I have visited MA, VA, OH, KY, MO, and LA. I have done all that traveling with three kids. Now my kids want to be in the military so that they can travel. One wants to move to Canada, but Canada is to cold for me. I stayed in Cincinnati traveling to Boston, we ate inside the Dominos Pizza there. I remember it being really cold, because we left Florida and we were under dressed. It seemed okay, just passing through. However, in the past I did see Cincinnati on First 48, but I imagine the city has cleaned up most of its violence. Well I want to wish you the very best in your life. And, don't worry about the things you can not change, worry how you will get through school and be successful in life. Live life have fun, travel, by the time you are ready to settle down and buy a house like I am now. You will know what state is best for you. After researching a lot of cities and living in several states, crime is everywhere, so is black people, and no state is perfect. Well Wyoming is a contender if you want to get away from some of the examples I just named. Best of Luck Sweet Girl! Tee

Why would anyone listen to a 13 year old with a chip on her shoulder.

I knew you were a child before you said it. At 13 I felt Cincinnati sucked and couldn't wait to move and yet I am here. You most definitely know nothing about bad driving or other cities. Sorry to say the suck is everywhere. Now look for the things that don't suck, learn about economy, politics, social services, education, cost of living, attractions and enrichments that our city and others offer. Also demographics and how they fit into what world you want to live in. At 13 I was at SCPA. Actually look and read about other cities in the US and around the world. Not just the skate parks, and rich people that live in them, Find out how other systems work and compare to what's here. Maybe you will move and maybe not but to ONLY sit and watch others live and then bitch and complain about their lives doesn't seem to be working for ya. What can you do at 13 to make your world better, more fun, less annoying? Try thinking about that instead of counting on the future you to magickly have an awesome life because you are no longer in Cincinnati, that doesn't happen, you need to construct your own awesomeness. Read about leaders, inventors, travelers, icons and see what they came from and went through. Your world is small, open it up. There are 13 yr olds forced to work, be married, walk miles for water, shovel everyday for pennies, starving from lack of access to food, taking care of dying relatives, taking college courses and graduating be fore 18 with a degree, writing books, become world wide activist to make lasting change, and so much more so what do you want to be, do, become? Here or there you are still you, you have the power to be mundane or magnificent, go show us all how amazing you are and what you know and can do.

How do you really know how bad a city is if you have only lived in one. I'm from Cincinnati but have lived in half a dozen others. Cinci was not my lowest ranked city. They all have tradeoffs, and you don't know what you have until you've spent some time in a place, the surface is often not revealing.
