a dirty infested spider web waiting for you

I lived in Kingman for three years and in Bullhead City over six years. I started a business in Kingman but had to shut it down and move. Everyone I hired was on drugs or booze, work an hour or two then have to leave with a few bucks for drugs or more booze. Contractors I hired weren't much better. The first one showed up a week late at my front door, and was so drunk he had to lean against the house. I don't necessarily have anything against Confederate flags, but6 I did learn that Kingman's early inhabitants, whose family names persist to this day as the town's Good Old Boys, emigrated from the defeated Confederacy after the Civil War and their lodges downtown constitute much of the town's power base, and dark operations. Speaking of the latter, try real hard not to have much to do with "law enforcement" there. If it doesn't go well, they have a whole program of dirty tricks to employ against you in the event, so much so that if this is your first experience with the phenomenon, you will wonder if this place is really located on a map of the USA. I am not making this stuff up. Home break-ins, arranged meeting with people (I call them extra-judicial assets) you do not want to meet, whether or not that is obvious at the beginning. Etc. Anyway, you certainly would be foolish to consider buying property in the Kingman area without thoroughly updating yourself on the Jim Rhodes water-depletion disaster. The 100-year aquifer requirement for new home construction is, as I understand things now in early 2018, historically compromised by Mr. Rhodes' team of lawyers and large number of voracious Golden Valley wells. And all that for Chinese Wheaties (they're buying the crops). Personally, I sort of see this as divine judgment upon the historic crimes which Kingman's venal, criminal pack of snakes have committed upon travelers and upon unwary new arrivals.
That's Kingman. On to Bullhead City. Well, there are police cameras everywhere, so ambience in a 3 A.M. stroll or drive is non-existent. And the police are at least as corrupt as Kingman's, perhaps worse. It's another dirty rotten American police state, as this country sinks deeper and deeper into more and more intrusive criminal Government entitlements on the back of their historic crimes, such as the 911 attacks (hey, go to YouTube and look at "Enemy Of The State" at exactly the 1:54:54 mark. That was THREE YEARS before the September 11 2001 attacks. This is YOUR Government at work, to serve and protect. You may vomit now, but it will not bring back the dead, nor the stolen trillions).
There isn't a whole helluva lot ma beleaguered victimized citizen can do nowadays in the face of such a Government. But here we are at an online review site.
So be warned. If you are retired and will spend your time mostly at home watching the American intelligence community's collusively-produced television and films, you may not much exposure to the dirty rotten criminal running Mohave County. But just realize where you are. It may say "USA" on the map, but in its own psychopathic way it might just as well be one of thoe countries which used to be corrupt but is now cleaning up its act when they see where this goes in America.
