Review of Sharpsville, Pennsylvania

Just a visit
Star Rating - 3/4/2011
NW PA is a nice place to visit if you have family or friends in the area. As for culture, entertainment and employment possibilities - precious little is available. Think abandoned steel mills, railroads and factories. The cloud coverage in this area is significant year round. Sunny days are numbered. Winters are harsh, damp, cold and bring tons of snow and ice. Look up "lake effect snow". A plus: The cost of a home is pocket change compared to other areas. Also the foothills of the Allegheny mountains, as well as various rivers, offer some decent outdoor activities. Living between Pittsburgh and Erie may look good on paper, but no so in reality. Again, it's a nice place to visit but I no longer want to live here.
