Speaking as a native who's been here almost my whole life (except college), Colorado used to be great. It's so overdeveloped now, the traffic is getting worse by the day, it's more polluted every day, and it's just not what it used to be. It has a lot of great features and people from worse off areas seem to love it. I live in a nice Broomfield neighborhood and we love our neighborhood. My fiancé loves working in Boulder. My parents love Parker and Castle Rock. And I think those areas are pretty neat! But they aren't improving, just continuously getting worse. The market to buy a home is way over competitive and homes are selling for way more than their worth, which is great for sellers I suppose, but several buyers are finding it impossible to afford a house to live in most areas. The city cannot handle the boom in population when it comes to affordable housing. The road infrastructure was not intended for the population of commuters. The RTD transit system cannot keep up with the expansion. The homeless population is expanding and it's getting out of control. COLORADO is beautiful and has a lot of great features, but DENVER is the absolute worst, and I can't wait to get out of here. I also don't know know a single person that actually loves it out here; everyone I know wants to move. By the way, I'm under 30, grew up here (as previously mentioned), and write both positive and negative reviews :)
