Used to be a good, safe place

Been here for over 9 years. Was on the upswing. Now it is full of vandalism, broken store windows and open crime. Not a place for a family. Has crude obsenities painted on most streets.

So let me get this straight. Back in the 90s and early-2000s, when it was literally a murder capital of the US (seriously, look it up), Richmond was a good, safe place. But now that people are justifiably pissed off and expressing their mistreatment, all of a sudden it's not safe for a family. Okay.

They need to rebuild the state penitentiary that graced your drive going across the river into the city. People saw that and knew.. that’s where you’re going if you do anything wrong.
