Anderson has much to offer! Two well know established colleges, Lake Hartwell, Lake Secession, parks galore, plenty of shopping, two Wal-Marts, plenty of grocery stores, nice restaurants, coffee shops, libraries, gas stations, banks, government buildings, statues, brick roads downtown, jockey lots that is very popular even by out of state visitors, low mid and high ranged housing market, apartments, hotels, pretty much all you would expect from a larger town. Most of all Anderson has hospitality,respect and honor that you only find in the south. If you are from another state and you wish to find out more I urge you to vacation here first it maybe a culture shock to you, but you will love it if you are open to a new way of life where people and the human race do matter. There are plenty of things to keep you and your family busy enjoys life but don't forget to sit on the porch and sip some nice cold iced tea and listen to the night that will be the best for true relaxation. I hope to see you in South Carolina soon with a whole new aspect on what becoming southern means.
