Warm Summer, Cold Winter

I currently live in Richland, WA. The summers are perfect to me. It gets hot (90-100 degrees) but I like it because it reminds me of California where I am from. I dislike the winters. I am not used to cold winters and I definitely prefer a place with a more mild climate. Icy cars and roads are not fun. At least it isn't consistently below zero like some places in the world! It is bearable, but we are looking for a place that is a little warmer in the winters. There is also a windy season which can be bothersome. I love being outdoors so if you don't mind being inside for most of the winter than the weather shouldn't bother you much.
