Nice place to raise a family

Brillion is big enough that it has a few stores and a Family Dollar but is small enough that there is virtually no crime. People here leave there doors unlocked and keys in the car, etc. We have an awesome community center with all kinds of activities and 2 huge indoor pools and a game room. Brillion also has a very good elementary school and a brand new highschool with a theatre that a local company donated. There are several places to work which is suprising in a town this size. Ariens and Endries are always hiring, plus there are several smaller places to work. Nonetheless, it is not a bad commute if you have to drive to Kauakana or Appleton. We are about half and hour from Appleton or Manitowoc, and 45 mins to Green Bay. It is a great place to raise a family. We moved here 2 years ago and have found people to be friendly and community oriented. The only bad things about Brillion is that in order to have a variety of restuarants, shopping stores and activities you have to drive pretty far like most small towns. Also, like the rest of Wisonsin, i'd say it's gray and/or crappy weather 300 days out of the year.
