Review of Monr,

This place is sure to give you cancer.
Star Rating - 6/15/2012
Lived in Monroe/West Monroe for 2 years, I deeply regret it. Here's why.

Not only is Monroe/West Monroe next to a plant that spews it's disgusting, cancerous smog, but it's water isn't even fit to drink. You will constantly get notices about how your water has something in it and needs to be boiled. Once you enter the city limits, you will smell Monroe, and you will not enjoy it.

Had a talk with the mayor about the well being of Monroe (water, the mill spewing it's disgusting, he didn't care. If you want to recycle, you have to take it to some warehouse yourself. The lack of healthy food alternatives is sparse, only one over priced health food store, locally owned.

Lack of a music scene. Culture there is Sports and outdoors, where some people try to be fancy and do these art galleries every now and then.

Lack of local cuisine. In fact, almost all of the businesses here are commercial.

But hey, if you want bible humping, soon to have cancer in 5 years environment, this is the place for you. Other than that, this place has nothing to offer but a slow death with a side of boredom.

DO NOT MOVE HERE IF YOU CAME FROM AN ACTUAL CITY, YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED.
