Newbury is a very unique place to live. We have country living with easy access to the city of Cleveland and the outlying cities. We have chickens and gardens galore! The Amish live within 10 minutes of us and offer many useful products and services. I buy all of my dry goods from a local store. And the Middlefield swiss cheese factory has not only their famous cheese but wonderful cuts of delicious meats for half the cost of what you pay in the local markets.
We have many festivals and often there is local music in Chardon's city square.
Fall here is a wonder to behold! The change from Fall to Winter is truly glorious. And we don't want to forget the farmer's markets where you can buy fresh vegs and fruits from the surrounding farms. What a treat!
If you like to ski...say no more. We are in the snow belt and have a local ski resort in our backyard.
