Great city + kids everywhere

We just moved to Oviedo and we love it. Lots of things to do. We are a "suburb" of Orlando (NE of Orlando in Seminole County) located about 30 minutes from the Disney area and about an hour from the Ocala National Forest and natural springs. We also have Daytona Beach and Cape Canaveral an hour away. Outdoor activities around here are plentiful. Plenty of parks. We have beatiful weather 9 months of the year (summer is hot -90's- and humid which makes it perfect for the beach or the Ocala cool springs). Our schools are 'A rated' and brand new. A new high school is going to be built this year. Crime is very low (much lower than the national average). Housing prices are reasonable but going up fast due to the quality of life here. If you have kids and are looking for a great place to live consider Oviedo.
