Review of Albuquerque, New Mexico

I've lived in both cities, Albuquerque Wins!!
Star Rating - 4/5/2019
I was born in Santa Fe NM in 1969. My father is a retired Army officer, so at 12 years old we moved to El Paso. Then California, then Huntsville Alabama. I moved to Albuquerque in 1988. I joined the military in 1992. My 1st duty station was DMAFB in Tucson in 1993. I lived in Tucson for 18 years. I retired in 2012 and moved back to Albuquerque in 2012 to get away from the depressive heat, crime, lack of a freeway, and horrible job market in Tucson. I've lived in Albuquerque for a total of 11 years and in Tucson for 18 years...Im pretty sure many who are commenting HAVE NOT lived in both cities as long as I have. Albuquerque has a fantastic freeway system, largest zoo in the southwest, Aquarium, Cliffs amusement park, The countries longest tram to the top of the mountain, a surf facility, and great paying jobs. Tucson is retiree heaven. To many snowbirds who golf and complain. Albuquerque is far superior to Tucson in every way!! And I lived in both for about 30 years of my life. Crime in Tucson is horrible, here in Albuquerque, I have never experienced crime of any sort. Tucson is overrun by drugs and immigrants from Nogales Mexico. The Albuquerque skyline is lit up with colored lights, the freeway and overpasses are lit up with colored lights. Tucson doesn't have so much as a freeway to get around. You have to drive thru the city to get everywhere. Albuquerque wins hands down!

Yet so many disagree. Why?
