Moved here about four months ago. Typical small town, everybody knows everybody and what everybody knows what you are doing before you even know!! Many good people, neighbors. Quiet, clean air, brightest stars you can imagine at night. Have ridiculous two only dog ordinance - not strickly enforced though, can have as many cats as you please. Housing is of course very cheap, utilities not bad - property taxes high. Auto tags and insurance very low. Great school system. Fun local fair called "Threshing Days" in August each year. For any shopping must go to Newton. 15 minutes or Wichita, about 40 minutes drive. Conservative town in politics, but seem to accept outsiders well once they meet you. Opened a business and community has been supportive.
