Review of Dubois, Wyoming

Hidden Gem. Remote and Remarkable.
Star Rating - 3/18/2018
Dubois is literally the kind of town that people fall in love with. I personally know several who decided to move here when on vacation here--or simply driving through. They are captivated by the spectacular landscape, on the border between red rock badlands and high Alpine forest. Then they are won over by the friendly and very interesting mix of residents, and the attitude of self-help and mutual support. You won't find chain restaurants or strip malls in Dubois -- which is exactly the way we like it -- but you will find everything you need, if you're the kind of independent person who actually likes remoteness, open space, and a sense of peace.
