My husband has accepted a job in Cambridge and we are moving there next month. I've been researching the area and am dreading it and scared to death now. We are both 60ish, white, not racist at all, and just want to live a safe quiet life. I have read so much about the crime and racial unrest there that I am going to be afraid every time my husband leaves the house and probably when he is even at home. I worry about someone hassling us at the grocery store and all other kinds of thoughts. Am I being ridiculous or is it really that bad?
