Very nice,homey small town-feels like home

I've lived all over the country working in healthcare.Have lived in ashland for the last 30 years.If you like smaller towns,you will like Ashland.Very friendly (as most of Ohio),
safe/low violent crime-property crimes as everywhere.Nice parks in town with frequent concerts.Symphony orchestra,ballet-both unusual for small towns.Most
neighborhoods are very nice with wide range of prices.Ashland University,students
from all over the world.Lots of Amish,be cautious driving.Wonderful parks in county
including Mohican State Park and State Forest,Malabar Farm State Park.Crappy
weather but a very nice,homey place to live.
