Growth and Development

I was born and raised in Belton South Carolina, I have not seen any growth in the pass 20 years. I think if there was more to attract people the town would grow. In most cities people drive on a daily basis 20 to 40 minutes to there jobs and home. There is nothing to attract newcomers. No restaurants, movie theaters, etc. When I come back to visit during the holidays there is not one place to go. Please research other small towns and see how they are growing and attracting the young professionals. Even when I was a little girl there was a movie theater in Belton. I loved the little town even then, but now it is very disappointing each and every time I am there. I live Atlanta and understand it could never be the same, however there are several small towns surrounding Atlanta that have a lot to offer the people that they never feel the need to come into the city. Please do more for the people in Belton.
