Been Shopping for a place in the Sagle area for 2 years now. Prices have gone up quite a bit in since late 2017. they seems to be leveling off a bit. We have our second offer in and are just off shore and would enjoy meeting more people in the Sagle area as several of our friends live over 40 to 60 minutes out, such as in Laclede. Would love to here more of what you think about the area, David. Our move will be in June when the kids get out of school. We are originally midwest people and need to get out of the metro area. David- Great post, thanks for all of the helpful information. I am in Pittsburgh with my wife and 3 sons- all under age 11. While I have been out a few times to visit for a week or two at a time, I am considering a relocation in Spring/Summer of 2021. With that, is there one school district over another that you would recommend? Also, looking for roughly 5 acres- my understanding is Sagle is likely more accessible for that lot size than Sandpoint, is that accurate? Thanks for all of the help in advance!

Sounds more like you come from LA than Colorado. The reason Sandpoint is so nice is actually BECAUSE of the freedom loving folks that you besmirch. You are precisely the type of people who unintentionally ruin the best places.

Switch from CNN to Fox News for just one week, and you'll see just how corrupt the "progressive", blame America first, America is systemically racist, it's open season on black men, open-borders, Democratic (Communist) party and Soros-funded media really is! When you start using terms like "nationalist, supremacist, uneducated, prepping, re-doubters, you do not realize that it is that attitude that people are trying to get away from when they move to remote conservative places like Sandpoint. Idaho is supposed to be a haven away from the "progressive" agenda. Colorado is much more suited for that attitude. I see why you love the untainted beauty, and if you think people post negative comments to "outsiders" from coming in, just look at your own attitude, and you will understand why.
