Review of Cedar Gro,

politics as usual
Star Rating - 12/18/2009
The Mayor and Council of Cedar Grove, NJ seem to be unaware that they were voted into office by their constitutents, not by Joe Divicenzo, County Executive. Although it is true that most members of the O'toole family have jobs with the County, and one of the current members on the Council, the O'toole father, also had a job with the person pulling the County Executive's strings, .. Joe Divincenzo does not vote in Cedar Grove....and it appears that certain votes by this Mayor and Council are only to appease the County Executive and have nothing to do with what is right for the town..or what the residents of the town want. For example, is there indemnification from the County for the proposed slaughter of the deer? Did anyone on the Council think of this? If the Mayor and Council are so concerned with doing the right thing and properly representing their constitutents, and for which they are paid... why not hold a public vote and cancel the killing... that would be representing your constitutents. Because as it stands now, you are accepting money for a job you are not doing and violating the oath you all took.

Unemployment is up; jobs have decreased, business and retail vacancies are up; home prices are down

Based on the signatures I have which grows by the day...it will be very easy to remove all of you from office.....we certainly have the numbers to do it.
