Review of Bridgewater, Virginia

Town of Bridgewater, VA
Star Rating - 1/23/2010
Bridgewater is a small college town in the Shenandoah Valley about 10 mi. south of Harrisonburg. With excellent public and private schools from pre-k through college within the town limits, it is a delightful place for families and couples of all ages. The town is governed by a town council with a full-time town Superintendent. It has a number of totally delightful public parks and walking paths, a superior retirement community, and even an IGA grocery store that harkens back to the '40s and '50s in terms of friendliness and helpfulness. We have lived here for over 15 years, and wouldn't even think of moving.
