I have moved away from Birchwood since I retired, however I miss the town with all of my heart. I know that the school system and the community are the very best. I have served the community for 21 years and worked with students at the school periodically. It is a caring community and it seems that everyone comes together to help each other ( it is old fashioned in that way ) however, it is quality in education with highly qualified teachers and a host of citizens in the community who are highly qualified ( mostly retired) persons who volunteer at the school.
