Moved here because of the progressive atmosphere and quality of downtown Valparaiso living. Organized community groups are active and caring. Local government works well with citizens. It’s clean, manicured in many areas and has lots of green space. Downtown recycling!! Great restaurants and retail shops in a quaint neighborhood look. Big box stores nearby. Schools are rated well. There is an opioid problem in NW Indiana, but Porter County’s sheriff is on it with programs and treatment plans. Close to Chicago so we have a great many commuters. Join us! We’re purple with regards to politics and play well with others. ??
