Review of Ravenswood, West Virginia

Ravenswood is a Beautiful American Town
Star Rating - 7/20/2015
As a student, I was educated in Ravenswood, West Virginia.

Ravenswood is an old town, that was initially zoned as a private estate owned by the first President of the United States, General George Washington.

There are many houses and buildings that were constructed before the year 1850, mostly made of stone or wood.

During the time of the Civil War, Ravenswood was mostly politically neutral. However, the "Underground Railroad" did pass by the Ohio River and near Ravenswood, which is interesting.

Ravenswood is adjacent to the Ohio River, and the mild weather of Ravenswood is always temperate and easy to deal with.

The best thing about Ravenswood is that it is very quiet most of the time.

The least favorable notation that could be expressed about Ravenswood would be the poorly written articles in the Ravenswood Star Newspaper, and the corruption of local government.

Trespassing is really not respected, on private property.

Ravenswood is a beautiful, old town.
