Review of Summit, New Jersey

I'm a 28 year old single male and I feel like an anomaly in Summit. Summit really is a great city. There is a beautiful downtown area (which actually drew me to this location when I was looking at suburban towns within 30 miles from NYC). The city is virtually crime-free, from what I've experienced. It is very well kept, the people are pleasant... it's like pleasantville! But like I said, I'm an anomaly here. Summit is very much a family town, a great place to raise your kids if you can afford to buy here. It's not so much for the young and single. However, Morristown is nearby, which is nice to keep in mind if you are young and single and end up rooting down in Summit. Transportation to the New York is almost par to none for towns outside of the crowded and sacrificial areas of urban development. When I decided to move to a town/city that was near New York but not New York, I looked everywhere, from Long Island to Connecticut. From Staten Island to the Hudson Valley. Little did I know I'd find such a convenient city that I'd like to live in in New Jersey!
