Folsom may "curb building projects

With the present unemployment rate of 4.8% in Folsom, a rate that exceeds the national average of 4.6%, Folsom should welcome new businesses with open arms and not "curb building projects." Folsom officials have re-introduced an ordinance that would block some new business and residential building projects within the village limits for six months, or until the village's plan is completed. New businesses would provide an opportunity for economics growth, a growth well needed to prevent a downward economic spiral.
