Living in Warrenton, VA

We're considering moving to VA. We're presently live in FL; want seasonal changes + close to large city. Mid-50's; love hiking, gorgeous scenery, easy access to airport for traveling, etc. Curious about Warrenton, Leesburg, Manassas, Fredericksburg, Culpeper, etc. - surrounding area! Do locals go to DC often? If a person living in Warrenton, VA could live anywhere in VA, where would that be? Excited to hear from you. I'll have more ?? later. Thanks - Morgan

I am currently living in Warrenton and it pretty much has everything you described (don't know about the hiking though). Personally I hate living here, and would rather live someplace more like San Diego. But if I could live anywhere in Virginia I would probably pick Virginia Beach.
