The Climate in the City of Hurley is dominated by the Lake Superior and the large amount of lake effect snow we receive each year In fact the local tourist counsels have named our region "Big Snow Country". Although our spring and falls can be short, summers are generally very plesent with the amount of daylight reaching 16 to 17 hours per day.
