Newburgh Indiana The American Dream

We have lived in Evansville, Indiana for 23 years but recently built a home in the Historic Downtown Newburgh Indiana area. Newburgh is an absolutely beautiful town along the Ohio River. Across and down the street are restaurants, bars and shopping like a quaint city of old. In the summer, most weekends are filled with farmers’ markets along the river, special food truck and music events, and special event for the kids. The architecture is stunning and the people are wonderful and friendly. The police station is a few blocks down the road and we see and know our local policeman who make this town one of the safest areas in the country. The elementary school is one block away and we love hearing the children play during the school year. We are so grateful to have found a community built on solid values where neighbors are supportive of one another with a shared goal of making Newburgh Indiana one of the best places to live.
