Review of Mill Creek, Washington

When I lived there a few years ago, most houses were around 500K and up. IF that's your price range, the schools are good and the area is very pretty. Lots of sidewalks, trails and parks.

Mill Creek - once a far out tranquil suburb built around a golf course - is still that, but the people are a coming! Priced out of “the Eastside” and Seattle, folks have migrated toward this oasis. Good and bad with that. Mill Creek preserves mature trees, open space, demands abundant trails and parks. That’s it’s identity. Excellent schools! But it’s becoming more convenient. Light rail will be just 3 miles away - a 32 minute skip to DT Seattle.....in 2032. Until then, traffic is horrible. But because of that, Sprouts Farmers Market, a 2nd Town Centers, and more commercial/retail is in progress!! Will be much more convenient!
