Atkinson has a small town feel yet you are less than 45 minutes to Boston. You are also less than 30 minutes to the beaches and less than 60 minutes to the mountains.
NH has relatively high property taxes to make up for the lack of income tax however Atkinson's tax rate is fairly reasonable.
