Conowingo is stuck in a place and time. Crossing the bridge or the state line, the world is a different place. I am a transplant and it surprised me how -tucky it is. The only oasis is Martin's food store and the small restaurants in Port Deposit. Unless you are a biker or a deer hunter, there ain't much else going on. Development is squashed due to lower incomes and highway tolls as well as mismanaged public services and local politicans.
