We drove several times around this area in Eastern Oregon. We love the beauty of the mountains. Yesterday it was spoiled by an owner/storekeeper of Outback Store at Granite, Oregon. Unfortunately, we had a flat tire. We pulled in at Outback store to change our tire. My husband went inside the store to wash his hand when an owner/store keeper came outside and yelling to my husband that their restroom is for customer only. Everyone can be customers. We planned that he will wash his hand then the kids and I will come and buy something from the store. However, it spoiled our plan since the owner/store keeper yelling to my husband to get out in his property. We all stuned with the attitude of a small town store owner. My husband and I love to travel. We been to different places small and big towns. Granite, Oregon is the place that I will not recommend to everyone due to attitudes of a small town owner/store keeper of Outback store. He is very rude and very unprofessional, and threating to assault my husband infront of me and our kids. Thanks for the small town attitude. We never come back in Granite, Oregon again. If you have a flat tire or need gas NEVER, NEVER, NEVER stop at Outback store in Granite, Oregon. Its unfriendly place.

You are not alone in your feelings about this business. I stopped in one day, needing gas. I asked for $15 worth but forced to pay over $50 for a full tank because the guy who pumped it claimed he hadn't heard me. I say BS! I worked for years in a gas station and first thing you do if the customer doesn't tell you how much they want is to ask them. If the do say how much they want, you confirm what they said to avoid mistakes, but this thief did nothing to show he hadn't heard me, and given the age of the pumps it was impossible to tell the price looking at it from an angle. I honestly thought he had only pumped $5 worth until he moved out of the way and took a second and third look before I understood it actually said $51.20! I won't be back to this place again either and warn anyone I can so the will not be taken advantage of by these crooks.
