Hello, iam from pocatello Id, but i currently live in Ashton Idaho. I live in a beautifull area of the country this is a great place . and very family oriented. very clean. good lower econamy.cost of live is lower then average. u can find jobs here if u are not picky. and willing to work were very aguralcultural here Farm county here. lots of big farms. thousands and thousands of open area of land' traffic is very small next to those larger citys. pocatello is about 55,to 65 thousand people. a collage town home of
IDAHO STATE UNIVERSITY. ASHTON is at the northern top it is 75 miles from Yellow Stone national park. we love it here in the spring and summer and the fall. If u are a winter person and like tons of snow fall and can put up with all the cold cold winter temperatures then u would love it here.this winter is very heavy with lots of snow fall. great for snowmobilers and skiers and al type of great winter activites. fishing is some of the best u will find in the world.
WE have been looking at moving to a different state like over to Eugene Oregon. and i have been reading every thing every one say about it good and bad . it sounds as though there are tons opinions and i enjoy hereing them all because that tell me that not every one thinks the same and are being honest in how they feel about where they live there is no where in this great counrty of ours that will ever satisfy everyone there will always be something wrong some where to lots of different kinds of people. SO i an being very open mined as to what i am reading. and very thankfull for all your opinions it helps me to know so much more about these citys before i make a reall decistion as to where we reallY want to land. but as for us we need to get out of all this snow. it is to much for us older ones to handle any more. were not funtioning well when our drive ways and walk ways are filled with 5to 6 ft if cold heave snow. and we are not able to shovle all that and do not have family who are close enought to come and get us out of here. so it is time for us to make a big change and go where it is not so much this type of weather . we know it rains a lot in EUgene i really got that point good. and that is something to really consider when looing at this move . but i also know there are meny other good commuitys around the are of Oregon that work just a s well. We don't have to go to Oregon. we just though we mightr like it there. out next though would be the stae of washington. some where warmer. so were sort of undeside as of yet but we grtting closer the move would happen it may. so thanks to all of you for your great opiions they do help.Martha.
