population and cost of living here is inaccurate. Many people esp. in the Independence area are pouring here from Ohio. The median cost of homes is a generalization if you want to live in a better neighborhood you of course will have to pay more. Taylor Mill is always under construction and getting to 275 in the am is awful..better leave at 30 minutes early to get down Taylor Mill. Coming back home in the PM it is bumper to bumper until after about 0730pm.
I am originally from Richmond, Kentucky and when people ask me (in Kentucky) where I am from what's up with that? You don't even feel like you are a part of Kentucky. You feel like you are part of Ohio. Jobs here are on the downward spiral and if you want a good job you need to commute to Cincinnati, Ohio
